Okay, uh, just for anybody who cares to know, uh...
I tried to send an owl in to the Ministry, just to see if I could. To you, Lisa, if you're reading this. And, uh, yeah. Don't do that. Gawain, my owl, came back not so long afterward, message still attached, dropped it on my head, flew around me very fast for several minutes, whilst screeching VERY loudly to show his feelings about his journey, and he hasn't even looked at me since. So, yeah. Bad idea.
Any luck from any of you on the inside?

Yes, I realize my glasses mysteriously disappeared. It was my mam's fault, she's always taking my glasses off when I fall asleep wearing them. Pfft. As though I can't fix a pair of bent glasses. Anyway, I won't get into it.
So, I'm back to work at the station on Monday. Micheal, dear lady friends, any of you up for a drink or two Monday night to celebrate my return from Family-Obligation-Land?

I'm so sorry I haven't been around, guys! Hope you've all been having a great Christmas! Michael, Su, thanks so much for the presents, I love them. I only have time to write a quick note right now, but I had to let you guys know!
I'm an uncle! It's so awesome! I don't know if any of you remember my brother Dexter, he's a lot older than me, but anyway, his wife had a baby a couple days ago. She wasn't due for, like, two months or something, so they were all worried because they didn't think the baby was going to make it, but she did! Margaret Adelaide Boot, born on Boxing Day, to proud Uncle Terry, who intends to spoil his darling little Maggie from now until the end of time. They're even talking about maybe making me her godfather! I'm crossing my fingers.
